OCEAN VIEW -- New Jersey State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash here on the Garden State Parkway at mile marker 16.1 southbound that occurred at about 4:55 p.m. Saturday, Nov 15.

The vehicle left the roadway for an unknown reason. It overturned onto its side then came to rest on the right shoulder of the road.

Ocean View Fire Department was dispatched to the scene for reported entrapment, but that was recalled by troopers on scene.

When Belleplain Emergency Medical technicians arrived, they reported the driver was out of the vehicle.

Belleplain Emergency Corps and AtlantiCare Paramedics transported the driver to AtlantiCare Medical Center in Atlantic City.
