Cape May Elementary Kids Feast on Harvest Bounty

Cape May Elementary students do the Cha-Cha Slide.

CAPE MAY — There were tables and tables of food, everything from turkey to macaroni to a bounty of desserts.

Cape May Elementary School's PTA presented its annal Harvest Supper Thursday, Nov. 13.

Children and parents feasted. Then, they nominated their favorite dish and dessert for an award at the end of the evening.

Cape May Police D.A.R.E. Officer Tony Genaro Jr. served as D.J., He spun tunes that brought kids to the dance floor for the Cha-Cha Slide and Cotton-Eyed Joe.

The event is an annual fund raiser for the PTA. Despite heavy rain outside, the cafeteria was filled with students and families.
