In response to 10/14 @8:14am, I see you are just another stupid person who talks without making any sense, tells stories without any facts, and are probably one of the persons the detective you are talking about has arrested. And by the way the veh. you are referring to is a 2004 that the det. drives (not really that expensive, just a nice car!), and if you really think you know of a bust that was not documented I would encourage you to bring it forward, or like I said just another stupid person attempting to speak!!!!!

You dont understand why ever time the LTPD makes an arrest it becomes a political stage???? Wow...I dont live in LT but i know why....One of those cops drives a BMW 745 that has tinted windows you cant see in, and black chrome rims with red stripes!!!! wow do u think LT pays that much? Unreal!!!! I personally know of busts this detective has made and there is no record of it...political it is!

As a resident on East New York Ave. I saw that detective sitting there waiting to arrest that *** I feel it's great to have a PD who will not stop until they get the *** and put him in jail. They even arrested the wife for attempting to hide him, thats great, thats a PD who cares about the community and will do what it takes to get these people off the street. Another great job LTPD, keep going the community is behind you 100%

7:54. Well have you ever watched COPS? Just a prime example. Police officers are subjected to ask the scumbag druggies if they have anything in there pockets that can "poke, stick, or prick" them. They cant throw them in a cop car, than a jail cell with stuff in there pockets. So they have to rely on that person to tell the truth. Then search there pockets to recover anything they do have in there. Think before you speak. I hope you use a dirty needle the next time you shoot up, cause apparently you are just another scumbag drug dealing/abuser statistic. Excellent LTPD! Hope you make a full recovery officer!

So, how do you get stuck with a needle while doing a search on a potential criminal? This LTPD deserves the doofus award and should be required to get additional police training that includes COMMON SENSE. Even the losers posting their kudos for the cops know that Villas is overrun with scumbags and druggies. Is it so much of a stretch to ASSUME any one of these low-lifes would have a needle on them. This dumb cop deserves to get hep-c for being so stupid.

Thank you LTPD for finally getting that scum bag off our streets, my only concern is that his wife is out and still hanging around and now she is seen bringing a variety of people into her house for all I know is for another drug hit. She has been arrested several times for stealing and so forth but she still walks the street. She is also seen driving so fast down our streets it is amazing she hasn't killed a child yet.
My prayers are with the officer who was hurt in this incident and hopefully he will be alright.

As for Mr. Beck we need more officers. you need to hire more and hire more full time officers. this is a dangerous town and our class 2 officers dont have health insurance. how would they cover there bills for the rest of there life if they got stuck with a needle with hep or hiv?????????? lets use our brains mr. beck and not our stubborness.

Im not sure why every time we read about the LTPD making an arrest it becomes a political stage.I for one dont know whether they need more or should have less or ok with the amount they have.This paper should be used as an information base not bashing central.How about this focus on the story.How about just a simple good job keep it up.There is also a serious side to focus on an officer doing his job was stuck with a needle.I hope everything is alright and may no harm come to him from this in the future.But Im not sure this means hire more officers.Ive lived here(villas) for 30 years the LTPD always makes me feel safe and I dont have any idea how many officers are employed.

FYI, those brave men who risked their lives chasing those drug-dealing losers are ALL decorated police officers and two of them have been awarded Officer of the Year. Maybe you'd like to see Wells Fargo patrol the streets so you can continue your illegal activities?

Hey 12:43pm Lower Township Police Officer Dave Douglass was shot and killed while
attempting to make an arrest "by himself" ,as was the young Phila Police Officer who was shot and killed recently.

That's why Police utlize "Back UP " officers while attempting to arrest people ( who dont want to be arrested).

Why dont you go through the Police Academy work the Midnight Shift ,Christmas.Easter.
Thanksgiving, ect... away from your family, be spit on ,kicked, punched and be criticized
for not writing enough tickets, writing to many tickets, not arresting Drunk Drivers, arresting to many Drunk Drivers, Not arresting people at their homes, arresting people at their homes..ect...ect...ect
