WILDWOOD CREST — Two days of perfect weather and large crowds made the Wildwood Crest Hydrofest Oct. 4-5 on Sunset Lake a roaring success.

Here are the results:

1.5 Litre Stock: Shameless Say What, owner/driver Brandon Kennedy, Bear, Del.
1 Litre: Spider’s Web III, owner: Bill Johnson, Marmora, driver: Mark Johnson, Mt. Arlington
2.5 Litre Stock: Miss Virgo, owner/driver: Marc Theoret, Valleyfield Quebec, Canada
5 Litre: Sinray- owner/driver: Patrick Haworth, Valleyfield, Quebec
National Modified: Miss Mass II, owner/driver: Mike Webster, Shillington, Pa.
Jersey Speed Skiff: Smoke on the Wa-ter/owner/driver: Rob Garratano, Oceanport, driver/rider: Robert Kennedy, Bear, Del.
Pro Stock: Wendt Rac-ing, owner/driver: Peggy Wendt, Blackwood, driver/rider: David Paraskeva, Tinton Falls.

If by success you mean an obnoxiously loud, inconvenient traffic debacle, then yes it was a success!

Every year this event gets bigger & better. Was there Saturday & had a fantastic time.
People in the crowds were friendly, the food was great & the racing was fabulous!!

Can't wait until next year!!!
