SEA ISLE CITY -- Crowds packed the highways into this city Sept. 13, and vendors, all 350 of them, lined the oceanfront promenade to sell a wide variety of goods, from fishing rods and reels to belts, pants, shirts and skirts to "miracle" wipes that would dry a spill immediately.
In addition to the vendors, 15 food choices were offered in the Kennedy Boulevard food court area.
The Hawkins Road Band performed and gave little toddlers and grandparents top-tapping tunes to make them want to dance.
For the children, pony rides and a bouncing moon walk were offered.
On Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., an antique auto show is planned.
And, for those who want to get sand in their shoes, there will be sand sculpting demonstations at 9 a.m. and noon.
There will be guided free historical trolley tours at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. beginning at Landis Avenue and JFK Blvd.
An awards ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. and an antique auto parade will conclude the event at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 14.

Maybe you need to check your facts.Maybe somebody misinformed you to make a joke of you.I will say he did a good job of that. There has been no 30,000 dollar accident of a city truck. How about you get more details maybe a truck model or color. How about a location.Just dont fling some mud and see what sticks, here it seems like it all fell.NO FACTS,thanks for the effort though SICTPA.Clueless as usual..

ok so lets re-classify that to "Motor vehicle crash" . Same concept. He destroyed 30,000 dollars worth of city property and is still being let drive city owned vehicles? Is still employed by the city? Maybe I should get a job with Public Works so I can demolition derby trucks, and not get fired too.

I think you answered your own question when you said it was an accident. Also Im sure if you put your name and number to your spout they will make sure you are notified of any other accidents.Go ahead name first than number..

Since we're on the topic of Public works employees, why is it if they have an accident in a city owned vehicle, we're never made aware of it? Above that, why would someone who crashed a city owned vehicle, and it being his fault, still be employed by the city, still being allowed to drive vehicles?
Bet none of you heard about that one? Totaling a city owned vehicle that's worth about 25,000-30,000 isn't a cheap mistake. Heck, its probably more than his salary(or maybe it isn't, we are talking about Sea Isle here where trash men make 20 bucks an hour).

Just wondering why Mr.*** didnt have a picture of one of his SICTPA member throwing his recycling all over a public works secertaries office.Maybe a poster of that along with the car would of been a better topic.Maybe a copy of his*** would of been nice.Or not family always stick together, right Mr***

Maybe its the point that SICTPA was trying to say that a city worker did this during working hours. The sign about the beaches also had to be attached to a picture of a car in a shop.Reason for that, Mr.H doesnt like city employees so he feels he needs to attack them and thier families.

The original poster is wrong in what they wrote. No attack happened.Public employees salries are always made public. If you are a resident of the town go to city hall and ask for them.So why would they be upset doesnt make sense.

To 4:31pm poster.I see you never will let the facts get in the way of a good story.Maybe what you should post is what you know not what you hear.If you have any "true" comments please post them.Just to let you know also the police acted on the situation and I think they handled it very professionally.Heres another fact for you no city worker attacked anybody. But go ahead keep going with "your" story.

Question: How do signs, that ask people if they want the City to repair their cars or to write their congressmen about restoring the beach, insult city workers?

I heard that *** was singling out individual employees and ripping them in public.I would have reacted poorly to that myself. He should run for office himself or shut up.

I hear that a city worker attacked the SICTA Booth and ripped down their signs. The police stood by and watched. I understand the city workers were mad about their salaries being made public.
