
BURLEIGH — On Sept. 7 at approximately 11:57 a.m., Middle Township Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on North Wildwood Boulevard at the traffic light near South Carolina Avenue.
A Chevrolet Blazer operated by Edgar Parker, 50, of Nazareth, Pa., towing a motorcycle on a trailer, had stopped for the red light on North Wildwood Blvd, when he was struck the trailer from behind forcing the trailer into his vehicle.
The other vehicle fled the scene.
Approximately 10 minutes after the accident police located the vehicle on Route 47 near Dias Creek Road. When police tried to stop the vehicle, the operator refused to stop and continued to travel north on Route 47.
The pursuit continued into Dennis Township.
As the vehicles approached a traffic light at Tyler Road, the suspect vehicle stopped for a red light and officers were able to arrest the driver, identified as Stanley P. Sliwinski, 47, of Millville, without incident.
Sliwinski was charged with Eluding Police, DWI, Leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, Reckless Driving, Red light violations and numerous other violations.
Parker was transported by Middle Township Rescue to Cape Regional Medical Center for treatment of neck injuries. Sliwinski was also transported to the hospital for evaluation.

DWI--------was he at the ***??????????? it is amazing that there are not more accidents from the amount of alcohol that is served and consumed during Roar to the Shore.
