COURT HOUSE — The C.U.R.T. Foundation (Children United to Resist Temptation) will hold its sixth annual Prayer Walk on Aug. 30 beginning at 8 a.m. at Middle Township High School parking lot.
The walk is open to members of all religions and all ages. The route takes walkers to every Middle Township public school where prayers will be offered for the children who will begin a new school year as well as for the teachers and administrators who will help guide those children.
Founder of the walk, Rev. Patricia Anderson, began the walks in memory of her son, Curtis Davis.
He was killed as he tried to cross the Garden State Parkway near the pedestrian walkway.
A memorial cross, dedicated to him at the east side of the walkway, will be one of the stops along the way.
The trek will end at Middle Township Elementary No. 2. The walk takes about an hour.
