WILDWOOD — The Wall That Heals, a half-sized replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will remain open to the public throughout the weekend, 24 hours a day, until 8 a.m. Monday.
The memorial is located in Fox Park, just west of Wildwoods Convention Center.
Names of the fallen are contained in books that help locate the wall panel and line on which the veteran's name appears.
The Wall is fully handicapped accessible, and is lighted at night.
The local visit was made possible through the efforts of many veterans, spearheaded by Vietnam Veterans of America Michael P. Callahan Chapter 955, of which Greg Mazzotta is president.
