To The Editor: Bravo, and congratulations to Tom Collins for his vision and commitment to establishing the Forgotten Warriors Vietnam Memorial and Museum at the Cape May County Airport. It was a privilege for us to attend the memorial dedication and grand opening of the museum, which honored and welcomed home the brave men and women who fought and died in the Vietnam War, especially those from Cape May County. Many thanks to Collins and his wife, Theresa, for all their hard work. Shame on those who, in order to protest the Vietnam War ignored and mistreated our service men when they returned home. Most of them were drafted and were just doing their duty. Thank God for men and women who enlist today to protect us. Remember them in your prayers, remember to thank them, especially the Coast Guard recruits you see around town, and remember to welcome them home with open arms and grateful hearts when they return from war.
