SWAINTON — With temperatures on July 8 expected in the high 80s and low 90s, the reticulated giraffes at the Cape May County Park Zoo will likely think they're back in their native Africa.
Meanwhile, the bald eagle, one of a pair, is included in the newest exhibit at the free attraction, located off Route 9 about 1.5 miles north of the Stone Harbor Boulevard-Route 9 intersection in Court House.
The popular zoo is family friendly, and accessible to those with strollers and wheelchairs.
The park is open daily, weather permitting, year round.
