Alleged Stone Harbor Burglar Caught in the Act

STONE HARBOR — On June 29, officers here were dispatched to the area of 85th and 2nd avenues at 3:26 a.m. for a reported car burglary.

A witness observed the subject, Joseph Haenn III standing near her vehicle’s car door, which was standing open.

Haenn, 23, of Lansdale, Pa., then reportedly rode away on a bicycle north on 2nd Avenue. He was picked up 20 minutes later by Avalon police at 52nd Street and Dune Drive and transported back to the scene of the incident for identification.

Haenn was found to be in possession of two I-Pods, an I-Phone a digital camera, a TomTom navigation system, two flashlights as well as cash and change.

Haenn was charged with attempted burglary, criminal trespass and possession of burglary tools with additional charges pending.

Haenn was processed and released with a court date.

im with that guy... i think this is definately a case of mistaken identity, did anyone know what the background of the witness was, im not sure that she's that credible, i think i know who it was, i think that Joseph was set up. its a shame and it shows who out of controll the local police departments are in south jersey, namely avalon and stone harbor. WHO is the KID who did this, I mean he probably meant no harm and was probably drunk off of that local stuff. Come back to philly and see what the true nature of crime really is, and lock your doors for gods sake.

So did this guy hit up north cape may 3 days later? a quick google search on his name shows Joseph Haenn JR is a presedent of a chrysler dealership in landsdale pa. He cant be hurting for money if his dad is doing that. SCUM thats all i got to say.!!

People still don't get it. Do not leave valuables out in the open in your cars....anywhere.
As far as the comment about all of the criminals being from out of state...how mornonic is that?
