WHITESBORO - One adult and two children have been displaced following a structure fire here on the 700 block of S. Gibbs St.
Rio Grande and Green Creek Fire Departments were dispatched around 8:35 p.m. on June 30.
When firefighters arrived they reported fire in the rear of the single family home. The fire was later reported to be under control at 9 p.m.
The county fire marshal was requested to the scene to investigate a hot water heater that may have been the cause, according to Middle Township police. The Red Cross was requested to the scene to assist the residents.

Does it really matter what all fire companies are at the location and what companies are standing by at other firehouses?? It seems like you always have something to say about every fire/rescue case. Are you driving around until something happens just so you can say that you were on location?

it was at reeves and gibbs no people hurt companies there was rio grande green creek court house, erma was at rio grande's station. when i first arrived on scene it was one room at 9:10 it already excalated to 1 and a half to 2 rooms. i was the first person other than a cop , on scene. at 8:45 i think, the first room was fully envolved with light smoke. it was egnighted by a hot water heater, possibly by a short.
