NORTH WILDWOOD- The “78 Days to Make a Change” Campaign kick-off was held at the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce “Summer kick-off’ mixer which took place at the Ocean OASIS Waterpark & Beach Club on Morey’s Surfside Pier on June 19.

Businesses across the county were asked to put a change canister on their counter for people to throw their spare change into for the Red Cross. The campaign will last only 78 days and will conclude on September 5, 2008.

The goal is to raise $7,800 for the Cape May County Chapter. All proceeds raised will stay in Cape May County and 89 cents of every dollar is invested in humanitarian services.

The following businesses obtained a can at the event: Boyd’s Texas Style Barbeque, Mutual Title of Ocean City and Wildwood, M.A. Graphics, Holly Beach B & B, and the Cape May County Herald.

Canisters may be obtained by calling 465-7382.

By supporting the American Red Cross you change a life starting with your own because it feels good!
