MARMORA — About 3 a.m. on May 19, N.J. State Police from Woodbine station received a report of a robbery at the Econo Lodge, 119 Route 9 South.

As they were en route to that location, police received a report of another robbery at the Wawa, Hope Corson Road and Route 50, Greenfield.

In both robberies, the suspects were described as two black males who wore ski masks to conceal their identities.

They brandished handguns in both instances, and demanded cash and access to safes.

They made their getaway in a late model four-door sedan, according to State Police Capt. Albert Della Fave.

State Police detectives and technicians were working on Monday afternoon to get surveillance video from both crime scenes, he said.

Maybe if only the criminals have guns, they'll be nice friendly criminals and just rob you and not hurt you. Yeah right! Meet my friends, Smith & Wesson.

I sleep better knowing Smith & Wesson are on my nightstand. Everyone in my family knows how to use a handgun and we practice regularly. I live in an enlightened state that has the Castle Doctrine. You come in my house, you don't belong there, you get shot.
No civil suit, no nothing. I never realized how backwards the laws in NJ were until I left. New Jersey needs some "Modern Gun Laws" and get with the program that the rest of the country is moving toward including Shall Issue concealed carry.

What a stupid comment above. Take away guns from law abiding citizens and only criminals will have them. Now do you feel safer?

Guns are so evil. If we had stricter gun laws these criminals would not have done this. Wait a minute! They're criminals, they don't pay attention to laws ! Pass a few more gun laws anyway, maybe it'll be the one that works, what the heck, it's cheaper than hiring more police to enforce existing laws and do investigative work.
