String Theory? Yo Yos Teach Science at Lower Schools

On May 15, 1,000 students of the Maud Abrams and Charles W. Sandman schools took to the athletic field to try Yo-yos.

The students learned physics concepts such as momentum, friction and kinetic energy. They also had a lot of fun.

The Yo-yo's were supplied by Bayside Pizza.

To bad that the real “string theory” is way above the intellectual capacity of most, it's very intriguing. Too bad it can’t be tested yet. It would revolutionize the world of physics.
