The Music Festival is coming! The month-long celebration of every type of music, organized by the Mid Atlantic Center for the Arts, begins May 18... but the wait seems much shorter now that MAC is hosting Music Festival Dinners.
We caught up with the Herb Moore Trio for a taste of Jazz at the Mad Batter on Sunday, May 11 as seen in the video. The boys (Herb Moore, Grammy-winner Barry Miles, and the ever loquacious Terry Dougherty) jumped in to promote the Fest, despite the arrival of a Nor'Easter raging just outside the Batter's colorful glass windows.

There's bound to be a great band or three in whatever style of music you're into... previous year's had so many performers taking part, one band actually had a show in a garage in the Villas! That's dedication.
