
On May 14 at approximately 1:30 am Lower Township Police responded to the Diamond Beach WaWa to investigate an activated burglar alarm.
Upon arrival police discovered the rear door knob had been forced off and the rear door was standing open. The store’s security camera showed a white male inside who fled the area when the audible burglar alarm sounded.
A search of the surround area was conducted but failed to discover the burglar. No other businesses showed signs of forced or attempted entry.
Wildwood Crest Police Department supplied information related to a juvenile runaway from their jurisdiction.
Further investigation by the Lower Township and Wildwood Crest Police Departments led to the arrest of a 16 year old white male for the burglary of the store.
The juvenile was processed at the Lower Township Police Department and released to the custody of his parents. Based on the initial investigation it is believed the juvenile fled the store before taking anything.

so that is ok. how about all the other people that is on tapes and are put in county jail to be charged. that is unfair. let everyone else out to go to court. very unfair at any age.
