North Wildwood Beach Writers’ Conference welcomes Lynn Rosen to the podium this year. Freelance writer, book publishing professional, editor, literary agent, book packager, and author, Rosen is a force to be reckoned with in the writing world.
Rosen teaches Publishing Management at Drexel University and leads a book discussion class, “A Sneak Peek at Next Year’s Bestsellers,” at Temple University’s Institute for Continuing Education.

She also owns Roseworks Media, a company that helps writers develop ideas, write book proposals, and improve their manuscripts. She frequently presents workshops on a variety of topics including book publishing and writing, and creativity.
Rosen says much of her inspiration comes from her relationship with her mother. How she learned to create a home, all the things she loves to do, are all indicators of a close mother-daughter bond. Even generational and personal differences have proven to be topics for her articles.

Rosen has published articles on how to do laundry properly, learning the dreaded art of sewing, and her Mother’s Day special: what she learned about housecleaning from her mother.
She is most recognized as the author of “Elements of the Table: A Simple Guide for Hosts and Guests” (Clarkson Potter, 2007), and the co-author of “The Baby Owner’s Games and Activities Book” (Quirk Books, 2006), and “The Baby Owner’s Maintenance Log” (Quirk Books, 2004), as well as several gift books and journals.

Rosen will speak at the North Wildwood Beach Writers’ Conference on Wednesday, June 4. She says she enjoys meeting authors who are all at different stages of their work. She finds conference attendees eager to learn and willing to interact with professionals.
