
Sign Language – Taught by Amy Williams, this class will teach you the basics of this beautiful language in a fun atmosphere. Sign Language will run for two Tuesdays, 7-9 p.m., beginning May 6 with a class fee of $25.
Strong Women – Powerful Strategies –Women face some unique issues when planning their financial future. This seminar is designed to give women like you the solid financial strategies needed to achieve peace of mind and financial security. We’ll explore issues like: Why the rules of financial planning are different for women, how large of a nest egg you may need for retirement and investment behaviors. Registrants have their choice of registering for either Tuesday, May 13t or Wednesday, May 21 from 7-8:30 p.m. with a class fee of $10. Anne Glenning will lead the class.
Jewelry! - Learn all the basic techniques in making jewelry in a three-week course. This course will teach you how to string beads, attach a clasp, make loops and wraps. It will also teach you what tools you will need and how to use them. (Please bring $15 supply fee payable to the instructor the first night of class.) Carol Dienno is instructing this class for three Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m., beginning May 14 with a class fee of $35.
Introduction to Computers 3 - A continuation of Introduction to Computers (2), for those who have taken the previous courses, or anyone willing to learn even more about computers. This course will take a more deliberate look at the Microsoft Office suite, and proceed to how to heighten your own computer's security and performance. This class will be better than basic, but still simple enough for anyone with common knowledge about computers. Robert Pollack instructs this class for four Mondays, 6-8 p.m, beginning May 19 (no class May 26) with a class fee of $45.
