LP Tank Explodes. Triggers Shed Fire in Rio Grande

RIO GRANDE — Rio Grande and Green Creek volunteer firefighters were dispatched at 3:19 p.m. April 18 to a reported explosion and structure fire behind 30 Church St.
An officer on the scene reported that an LP gas tank had apparently exploded and that the shed was on fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze. There were no reported injuries.
No further information was available.
