Crews Respond to Chimney Fire on Fulling Mill Road

VILLAS- Lower Township Police responded to a possible house fire at Budd's Tackle on Fulling Mill Road at approximately 3:30 p.m. on April 2.

The fire started inside the chimney, and quickly filled the house with smoke.

No one was injured during the fire, and parts of Fulling Mill Road were closed by police as the Villas Fire Company extinguished the blaze.

Firefighters were on scene for about 45 minutes trying to clear the chimney and make sure the fire was out .

Lower Township Rescue Squad was also on scene with two ambulances to assist the fire department.

No further information was available.

I think people should learn how to use the spell check feature of their computer before they post. I would be nice if they would at least use proper grammar. But, I don't expect alot from Villas residents.

nice job to the first crew on Engine 632 lead by capt. rich harron jr and let. billy howard for a great knock down and keeping the house clean as possible. also thank you for town bank fire and erma fire even know your not in the paper

i think you should get you info right f600 was there first. i know that you's have scanners and u heard pd there if the the radio in the villas work you would hear that thank you lower township
