The fundraiser, cosponsored by Corona and Pacifico Beers, will feature live music by Matt Quinton and headlining band Parrotbeach, a popular local Jimmy Buffett tribute band. The $10 admission includes a “cheeseburger in paradise” buffet. The first 100 guests will receive a free commemorative tee shirt, and the Corona Girls will be on hand with other exciting giveaways.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund, an Avalon-based grass roots organization that lends support to local children suffering from pediatric cancers, and Volunteers in Medicine, a free health clinic for uninsured residents of Cape May County. Last year, the JSPH Club donated a total of $8,000 to the two organizations.

Tickets are available in advance from the Ocean Drive by phone, at (609) 263-1000, or at the door. The club is located at 40th Street and Landis Avenue, in Sea Isle City. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The Jersey Shore Parrot Head Club brings together people with similar interests in the music of Jimmy Buffet and organizes a number of social gatherings, charitable fundraisers, and community service events throughout the year. Spring Island Frenzy is the club’s largest fundraiser. For more information, visit the club’s website at www.jsphc.com .
