Middle Police Report Activity March 16-22

COURT HOUSE — From March 16-22, the Middle Township Police Department responded to and or initiated 850 calls for service, averaging 121 calls per day.

The following are the more serious calls involving thefts:

March 16:
House fire reported at 1:32 p.m. on West Main Street at Pennsylvania Avenue, Whitesboro.
Theft of a wallet reported at 2:52 p.m. at J.C. Penney’s Route 47 Rio Grande.
Domestic, custody dispute reported at 6:14 p.m., 400 block Goshen Road, Court House.
Malicious damage to property and problem with juveniles in 200 block Hirst Avenue, Rio Grande.
Domestic violence, assault with one arrest reported at 7:11 p.m. at Simpson’s Motel Route 47, Rio Grande.
Burglary to a business at 9:05 p.m. in the Village Shoppes, Route 47 Rio Grande. Two arrests made.

March 17:
Simple assault reported at 4:59 p.m. at Wildstyles store, Rio Grande.
Trespass and harassment by juveniles reported at 7:40 p.m. at Oceana Nursing Home Route 9, Swainton.
Two motor vehicle accidents investigated:
Route 47 Rio Grande at 12:07 p.m.
Shunpike Road, Court House at 3:08 p.m.

March 18:
Electrical fire reported at 9:26 a.m. at Jersey Cape Diagnostic Crest Haven Road.
Theft of a wallet reported at 1:24 p.m. by school officer at 188 Crest Haven Road, Court House.
Harassment reported at 2:19 p.m. in CVS parking lot, Court House.
Harassment reported at 3:55 p.m. at 1301 Route 9, Burleigh. One arrested.
Missing person, possibly endangered, reported at 5:27 p.m. in 400 block Maryland Avenue, Rio Grande. Person was located and transported to hospital.
Theft of a bicycle reported at 7:02 p.m. at 1301 Route 9 Burleigh.

March 19:
Theft of a trailer containing a lawnmower reported at 8:03 a.m. in 1300 block Route 9, Swainton.
Disorderly student reported at 9:36 a.m. at 148 Crest Haven Road, Court House.
Domestic violence with malicious damage reported at 2:04 p.m. Atlantic Cape Community College, Court House.
Theft of motor vehicle license plates reported at 2:32 p.m. in 1500 block Route 9, Swainton.
Sexual assault reported at 4:15 p.m. at Elementary No. 2 School. One arrest made.
Controlled dangerous substance arrest as a result of a car stop at 4:30 p.m. on Garden State Parkway, Court House.
Car burglary reported at 11:05 p.m. on North 15th Street Del Haven. An arrest was made and items recovered.
Three motor vehicle accidents investigated:
Route 147, Burleigh reported at 1:11 p.m.
Burleigh Storage lot reported at 2:17 p.m.
Route 9 South reported at 8:45 p.m.

March 20:
Domestic violence reported at 9:37 a.m. in 100 block Roosevelt Boulevard, Del Haven.
Theft of money reported at 11:18 a.m. at Shop Rite, Route 47, Rio Grande.
Assault reported at 11:20 a.m. by school officer at Middle Township High School.
Malicious damage to a vehicle reported at 12:25 p.m. in the 3600 block Route 47, Rio Grande.
Car burglary reported at 1:45 p.m. on Geneva Avenue, Del Haven. One arrest was made the prior evening.
Theft of a sign reported at 2 p.m. in 700 block Route 9, Court House. Item was recovered and returned.
Shoplifter and possession of CDS reported at 2:57 p.m. at Wal-Mart, Rio Grande. One arrest was made.
Three motor vehicle accidents investigated:
Route 9, Court House reported at 4:22 p.m.
Indian Trail reported at 10:35 p.m.
409 Route 47S reported at 11:12 p.m.

March 21:
Harassment reported at 7:26 a.m. at Lowes Store, Rio Grande
Burglary to campsite reported at 9:35 a.m. at North Wildwood Campground CMCH 2008-10229
Car burglary reported at 9:42 p.m. in Rio Mall parking lot, Rio Grande.
Domestic violence reported at 7:06 p.m. in 100 block Hemlock Road, Rio Grande.
Theft reported at 8:13 p.m. at Whispering Woods Motel, Green Creek.
Burglary to campsite reported at 11:22 p.m. at Hideaway Beach Campground.
Four motor vehicle accidents investigated:
Wal-Mart lot reported at 10:24 a.m.
Route 47 South reported at 10:39 a.m.
PNC Bank, Court House reported at 4:21 p.m.
216 Reeves Street, Whitesboro reported at 10:11 p.m.

March 22
Harassment threats and warrants arrest at 12:36 a.m. at Hideaway Beach Campground.
Driving while intoxicated and underage drinking, motor vehicle stop arrest at 2:12 a.m. on Mechanic Street, Court House.
Domestic violence and temporary restraining order issued at 6:01 a.m. on Hereford Avenue, Court House.
Verbal argument reported at 10:19 a.m. at Green Acres Motel Route 47, Rio Grande.
Attempted burglary to a residence reported at 11:20 a.m. in 300 block Indian Trail Road.
Internet fraud and forgery reported at 11:45 a.m. on Galloping Way, Court House.
Runaway, possibly endangered reported at 3:43 p.m. on Ridge Road and Route 47 Green Creek. Person was located and taken to Cape Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
Theft of copper from a home reported at 4:02 p.m. in 600 block Stone Harbor Boulevard.
Four motor vehicle accidents investigated:
Superfresh lot, Court House reported at 11:35 a.m.
Route 47 South reported at 4:33 p.m.
Shop Rite lot reported at 4:40 p.m.
Blitz market, Court House reported at 4:47 p.m.
