COURT HOUSE -- Middle Township Police Department reported that, from March 2-8, it responded to 813 calls for service, or 116 per day, on average.

The following are some of the more serious calls:

March 2:
Large fight with malicious damage reported at a home in the 100 block, Hand Avenue, Court House at 1:34 a.m. Parties were dispersed.
Malicious damage to a vehicle reported at 1:46 p.m. at Delsea Woods Trailer Park, Green Creek.
Warning was issued to several disorderly juveniles on Maryland Avenue, Rio Grande at 2:28 p.m.
Report of terroristic threats in Delsea Woods Trailer Park, Green Creek at 7:09 p.m.
Motor vehicle accidents were reported at 11:01 a.m. at Route 9 and Crest Haven Road, Swainton and at 2:16 p.m. at Rio Grande Plaza, Rio Grande.

March 3:
One arrest made after Lowe’s Store, Rio Grande reported theft of a barbecue grill.
A missing adult was recovered safe at 8:07 a.m. after several days from Arbutus Court, Swainton.
Four arrests were made in connection with a bomb threat at Middle Township High School reported at 9:10 a.m.
A sex offense remains under investigation reported in the 400 block Route 9 North, Court House at 11:34 a.m.
Report of terroristic threats at 12:13 p.m. at 148 Crest haven Road, Crest Haven.
Report of disorderly juvenile at 2:36 p.m. at 148 Crest Haven Road.
One arrest made at 3:12 p.m. in connection with a domestic violence temporary restraining order violation at Simpson’s Motel, Route 47, Rio Grande.
Domestic violence temporary restraining order issued at 3:47 p.m. in 200 block South Railroad Avenue, Rio Grande.
Missing adult reported at 3:47 p.m. in 100 block Route 47 North, Rio Grande. Recovered safe on March 4.
Report of stolen pocketbook at Acme on Avalon Boulevard, Swainton at 4:14 p.m.
Report of stolen pocketbook at J.C. Penney’s, Rio Grande at 5:19 p.m.
Drug paraphernalia found on Cochran Street, Whitesboro at 5:31 p.m.
Credit card fraud reported at Avalon Links, Route 9, Swainton, reported at 9:36 p.m.
Five motor vehicle accidents occurred at:
Grande Center lot, Rio Grande, 1:06 p.m.
9 Route 9 North, Court House, 2:31 p.m.
Route 9 North, Court House, 4:16 p.m.
4005 Route 9, Ro Grande, 4:35 p.m.
West Main Street, Whitesboro, 5:14 p.m.

March 4:
Burglary of a residence in 700 block Wildwood Avenue, Whitesboro reported at 2:06 p.m. Forced rear door, jewelry and money missing.
Fraud reported at 2:21 p.m. in 200 block North Main Street, Court House.
Threats with a weapon at Grande Center, Rio Grande, at 6:22 p.m. Arrests are pending.
Three motor vehicle accidents were investigated:
Route 9 South, Rio Grande, 8:48 a.m.
Route 9 and Stone Harbor Boulevard, Court House 1:09 p.m.
Rio Mall lot, Rio Grande, 1:47 p.m.

March 5:
Storm and wind-related damage from early morning storm reported throughout the township. Power lines and poles down in Avalon Manor with power outages.
Fight reported on Moore Road, Crest Haven, at 11:54 a.m. Parties were separated and dispersed.
Sex offense investigation at 12:44 p.m. on Cochran Street, Whitesboro.
Credit card fraud reported at 1:15 p.m. Country Village Drive, Court House.
Sex offense investigation at 1:57 p.m. in 400 block Goshen Road, Court House.
Prescription medication fraud reported at 2:22 p.m. at Medicap Pharmacy, Court House.
Theft of motorcycle reported at 4:06 p.m. 100 block East Main Street, Edgewood.
Two motor vehicle accidents investigated:
Route 47 and Shunpike Road, Rio Grande at 1:35 p.m.
Route 9, Court House at 11:15 p.m.

March 6:
Assault reported on East Main Street, Edgewood at 12:31 a.m.
Weapon reported in school at 10:29 a.m. at 148 Crest Haven Road, Crest Haven. One arrest was made.
Motor vehicle accident reported at 4:03 p.m. on Route 47 North, Goshen.
Theft-fraud reported at Staples Store, Court House at 5:47 p.m.
Obstruction of justice reported at 6:16 p.m. in 100 block Lee Lane, Court House.

March 7:
Employee theft reported at Wal-Mart, Rio Grande at 7:06 a.m. One arrest was made.
One arrest was made at 3:06 p.m. in connection with a domestic violence assault, temporary restraining order in 1600 block Route 47, Rio Grande.
Shoplifter arrested at K-Mart Store, Rio Grande at 5:23 p.m.
Domestic violence temporary restraining order at 6:31 p.m. on Mechanic Street, Court House.
Theft of money reported from U.S. Gas, Route 47, Rio Grande at 8:37 p.m. One arrest was made March 8.
Two juvenile runaways reported at 10:47 p.m. on Starling Road and Shunpike, Burleigh. Returned safely.
Fatal house fire 12 Priest Boulevard, Rio Grande, 11:34 p.m.
Four motor vehicle accidents reported at:
Elementary No. 1, Court House lot, 1:18 p.m.
Wal-Mart lot, Rio Grande, 1:47 p.m.
Route 9 South, Rio Grande, 4:04 p.m.
Route 9 North, Court House, 9:05 p.m.

March 8:
Driving while intoxicated-CDS arrest made after motor vehicle stop at 8:05 a.m. Stone Harbor Boulevard, Court House.
Malicious damage to a vehicle reported at 10:21 a.m. on Golf Club Road and Shellbay Avenue, Court House. Disabled vehicle window broken.
Damage done to a fence, possible hit-and-run accident at 10:56 a.m. Cape May County Park, Court House.
Burglary to a residence, Poplar Street, Court House reported at 7:23 p.m. Forced entry rear door, nothing taken.
DWI motor vehicle stop at 8:17 p.m. Route 9 Court House, One arrest was made.
Two motor vehicle accidents investigated:
Indian Trail Road, Burleigh, 11:49 a.m.
1613 Route 47, Rio Grande, 2:10 p.m.
