CAPE MAY- A deer was caught swimming in the Cape May Inlet on Saturday Feb. 2 around noon. The deer was swimming through the channel coming from the ocean direction.

The deer swam for quite some time along the jetty before tiring out and climbing up the rocks and into the coast guard facility, on the Wildwood's Side.

These photos are remarkable. I didn't know these Whitetails were so adept at both swimming and climbing. Well done!
