Cape May Court House - Learn about “Green Cleaning” at the Cape May County Library at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 9th. The presentation by Elaine Shaughnessy provides information on healthier ways to clean in today’s world. The Main Branch of the Cape May County Library is located at 30 Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.

Green cleaning is the natural way to create a healthy environment in a safe, pleasurably sweet-smelling way. By using herbs and other natural ingredients that are good cleaning agents and easy to make, you lessen your indoor toxins. Useful tips along with green cleaning recipes are offered during the presentation. Green cleaning results in a healthier you, home and planet.

Elaine Shaughnessy has been an educator for over 30 years and has focused her attention on wellness through nature. In addition to various healing modalities and metaphysical studies, her mission is to educate consumers on the use of natural products, herbs and further healing modalities to enhance life.

Shaughnessy is a member of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA), the Feng Shiu in NJ Group and currently is the Vice Chairperson of the Herb Society of America South Jersey Unit.
