The Alcove Center for Grieving Children and Their Families hosts its eighth annual Summer “Fun-raiser” July 8 on the patio at the historic Atlantic City Country Club here.
Admission to the event, which runs from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., is $40 per person, which includes the country club’s popular outdoor barbecue dishes including grilled hamburgers and cheeseburger, grilled kosher hotdogs and grilled boneless chicken breasts, plus assorted salads and vegetables.
A full-service cash bar will be available, with complimentary soft drinks provided by Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc., which owns the country club. Music will be provided by disc jockey Jack Fahy of Above and Beyond Entertainment.
