Get ready to rock and stomp on Saturday, May 30, 2009 with the legendary Dovells and their band at Avalon's Community Hall - 30th & the Beach. This Doo Wop Dance Concert, presented by the Avalon Performing Arts Council (APAC), will begin at 7:00 pm.
The Dovells are one of the country's top oldies musical acts. Jerry Gross and Mark Stevens will perform their timeless hits ... remember - The Bristol Stomp, You Can't Sit Down, Wildwood Days? Singing and dancing along with them (and your friends) will definitely start your summer off on the right beat!
The concert cost is $15, but arrive in a vintage 1950's car, and the owner gets in for free! The Snack Bar will be open and serving food and beverages. If you wish, bring your own, and we'll provide the ice. For reservations, group or individual, call 609-967-3066.
