2009 West Cape May Strawberry Festival announced.
The annual West Cape May Strawberry Festival sponsored by the West Cape May Business Association will be held on Saturday June 6, 2009 in Wilbraham Park at the corners of Broadway and Sunset Boulevard from 9-4. Raindate is Sunday June 7. This is a much anticipated early summer event celebrating the beginning of a new season. Over 90 vendors selling clothing, art, crafts, jewelry, antiques, fresh produce, etc will line the park and adjacent Myrtle Ave. Barbecue, crab cakes, lemonade, popcorn, and more will be available. Top it all off with the Strawberry Shortcake sold exclusively by the WCMBA and Animal Outreach. This luscious treat is made from only Jersey Fresh berries, cake and real whipped cream and helps Animal Outreach build their new animal shelter. Entertainment will include the ever popular Micheal Davis and the Bullets and Mark Jacopec and his drum troupe. At 3:00 the 2009 West Cape May Strawberry King and Queen will be crowned on stage.
