Cape May Court House-The Cape May County Library would like to invite the public to a one day workshop on basic floral design taught by Joanne Preston. The class will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, January 22nd at the Main Branch of the Library located at 30 Mechanic St., Cape May Court House.

The workshop consists of two segments:
• The first segment will be a demonstration using fresh, dried and silk materials to create symmetric arrangements and wreaths.
• The second segment, participants will have the opportunity to use the techniques taught to create their own floral settings or wreaths.

Joanne Preston has been a floral designer for over thirty years. Additionally, Preston has been a floral party decorator and wedding flower specialist and gives demonstrations to garden clubs and high schools.

There is no charge for the workshop; however, registration and a valid library card are required as the class size will be limited. A list of material needed will be available when registering.
