A display highlighting the work of members of The Nimble Fingers Chapter of The Appliqué Society is featured during October at the Upper Township Public Library located at 2050 Route 631 in Petersburg.
The display consists of projects that are hand appliquéd by members of the Nimble Fingers such as quilts, clothes, wall hangings, pictures, and table decorations. The display shows quite a variety of things you can do with appliqué.
The Appliqué Society’s (TAS) mission is to promote, teach, and encourage the love of all types of appliqué in quilting, as well as encourage and inspire creativity. Members want to ensure that the art of appliqué continues through the generations. The Nimble Fingers Chapter is the only chapter of TAS in the State of New Jersey. New members are always welcome.
