County Library Offers AARP Defensive Driving Course

The Cape May County Library invites the public to an “AARP Defensive Driving Course” held in two four hour sessions from 5-9 p.m. at the following libraries:
• May 6th and 7th - Main Branch Library, 30 Mechanic St., Cape May Court House (463-6350)
• May 12 and 14th – Upper Cape Branch Library, 2050 route 631, Petersburg

The course provides a review of driving skills and techniques. Trained AARP Instructor Pete Diaz presents the eight hour course which may result in a reduction of your automobile insurance rate. Participants need to contact their individual automobile insurance companies to find out the reduction in rate of car insurance offered by completing the course.
Registration is required and you must have both a valid New Jersey Driver’s License and a valid Cape May County Library card. There is a $10 fee to AARP that is due at the beginning of the first class.
