On Sunday, June 8 at 10 a.m. take the World War II Boat Cruise aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher for a trip around Cape Island. As you cruise, you’ll travel through the World War II Canal, see the remnants of Fort Miles, including Fire Control Tower No. 23 and Battery 223, and pass the US Coast Guard Base, formerly Naval Air Station Cape May. Hear tales of enemy activity and homeland defense efforts in the ocean and bay. Marvelous views of the city, Lighthouse and dolphins will enhance your experience. The boat departs from Miss Chris Marina and the cruise lasts for about 2 hours. Admission is $22 per person.
